Andy’s Big Heart is a non-profit organization, established in 2023, that provides support to children, adults, and families affected by eating disorders.

Andy’s Big Heart was founded on the simple principle that no one should struggle alone.

Over 28.8 million Americans alive today will have an eating disorder at some point in their lifetime. Eating disorders have the highest risk of death out of all mental illnesses and they affect every gender, race, and ethnic group. Diagnosis and effective treatment can be difficult to obtain and financially prohibitive.

In our first full year of operations (2024), thanks to our generous donors and partnerships, we were able to provide support to those in need by:

• Covering the costs of evaluation and diagnosis for individuals requiring care

• Offsetting the costs of in-patient treatment for individuals receiving care

• Providing essential supplies to those receiving in-patient care

• Providing holiday gifts for those receiving in-patient care away from their families

In 2025 and beyond, we are striving to expand our reach and impact. Not only by helping more people, but by adding new service offerings, such as:

• Offsetting travel expenses for those entering distant in-patient care

• Offsetting travel expenses so families can visit those receiving in-patient care

• Establishing support groups for

  • those suffering with eating disorders

  • family and friends affected by those with eating disorders

There is much more we can do, but we can’t do it alone. With your help, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who are suffering, those who don’t know where to turn, and those who are struggling alone.
